St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop

Happy St. Patricks Day,
I'm so excited to participate in my frist blog hop! For this project I used my Peachy Keen stamps and stamp this adorable little mouse and the mug of green beer/soda. The image was stamped in Momento ink and colored with Copic markers. I added Glossy Accents to the mugs and liguid applique, that was heated with my embossing gun, to the foam to make it look real and gold Stickles on the hat buckle. The ribbon is from Michales and the paper is from my stash. I added some doodling with my white signo pen and green copic pen.

I hope you visit all our blogs for some great projects. Here is the list in case you get lost;

MAG challenge

Hello again,
I decided to make one more quick item for my hubby. The challenge was to use FMK pg 60. The image is a martini glass with an olive and I chose to only use the olive to make a bookmark for my husband to remind him how much I love him-he is a big readed of magazines. The paper is from my stash as is the ribbon. I tied my ribbon differently for me and I like the 2 colors together. Enjoy your day!

Double challenge post

Good afternoon,
I'm trying to get things done for my trips, but decided I needed to craft a little. The card I made is for Die Cuttin Diva's-use a cut not used on a cart not used much and Lisa Somerville birthday card challenge; http://www.lisasomerville.com/2011/03/bloggers-challenge-they-say-its-your.html. I use FMK Cricut cart and cut the cute lobster and crab. The stamp is from SU Crab And Company set that is now retired. I inked the edges and stamped some shells in the sand and used my black pen for some stitching on the critters. Alos, how can I forget-googley eyes. Hope you like it. Have a great day.

Multi Challenge

Good evening,
Today was the day to finally try on clothes for my 2 trips and it didn't go well! I have been on high doses of steriods since January which has caused me to gain a bunch of weight, so nothing fits. I went to 6 stores to find clothes with little luck, off to try one more tomorrow and hope for the best. I don't want to spend much because I don't plan to stay at this weight for long. OK enough of my sob story.

On a happier note I made a cute card to enter in FIF #14,K. Andrews simple Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky http://www.gettingcricky.com/ and Baby Bud designs. The challenges were to use Twinkle Toes cart, sugar and spice and ribbons and bows. I made an awning for her to perform under and added some pearls for a necklace and some bling. I stamped her face with a Peachy Keen face. Hope you like her. Have a wonderful night.

Stamp Tv challenge-stvsksp16

Happy Saturday my friends,
Today I went to Chicago and watched the river being dyed green, very interesting! We then decided to go to watch the parade, but couldn't get very close because it was SO crowded. We had lunch with my daughter and came home to craft. The card challenge for today was a sketch. The imageis Mimi & Miles from Penny Black, which I stamped in Momento ink and colored with my Copics. I used paper from my stash and added Stickles for some sparkle to the hearts. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Lets all send some well wishes to the poor people in Japan. Take care.

Sketch TV-stvcsp14 challenge

Hello again,
I was getting ready to head up to relax when my son said "I want you to make a quick card for the challenge of red, black and yellow" before bed. I had planned to skip this challenge but he was insistant. The card was a very quick card made with a Mickey stamp I had won years ago and then colored it with watercolor pencils. The house in the backround is from Disney paper I had that I cut this image out. I added some faux stitching and glossy accents to Mickey's ears. I will stamp a sentiment on it, but wasn't sure which one yet. Off to relax, enjoy your evening.

Wee Memories-wmc46 challenge

Good evening,
The sun came out for about 30min today, it was so nice. I'm going to Texas next weeeknd and then Florida the following week, so I hope to soak up some major sun. Since I will be traveling the next few weeks I probably won't post as often, but will get back to my schedule April 1st. I will post when I can over the next few weeks.

The challenge for this card was Woodland Friends. I chose a stamp set by Stampendous called Birch Buddies and colored with my copic markers. I decided to leave the word block blank for now until I need this card for an ocassion then stamp it. I think I'm STARTING to get a hang of my copics, but need lots more practice. Have a wonderful evening and lets hope for sunny days. Take care,
Kris
