I'm home

Hello everyone,
I made it home from my 2 vacations and will begin posting projects this weekend. I have so much to catch up on after being gone for 2 weeks. I can't tell you how great it was to be in the warm weather. The one bad thing that happened on vacation was when I was getting on a water ride I fell face first and hit my head, so I have a few bruises and sore face.My hands didn't even break my fall, how embarrassing!I did get to see my brother and parents as well as watch my son and his cheer team compete, so those were big pluses.

On a much happier note, I will now be designing for Flair and Frills blog and I'm SO excited!! I will get to creating this weekend and back on a regular posting schedule. Thanks for following me and leaving comments.

St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop

Happy St. Patricks Day,
I'm so excited to participate in my frist blog hop! For this project I used my Peachy Keen stamps and stamp this adorable little mouse and the mug of green beer/soda. The image was stamped in Momento ink and colored with Copic markers. I added Glossy Accents to the mugs and liguid applique, that was heated with my embossing gun, to the foam to make it look real and gold Stickles on the hat buckle. The ribbon is from Michales and the paper is from my stash. I added some doodling with my white signo pen and green copic pen.

I hope you visit all our blogs for some great projects. Here is the list in case you get lost;

I almost forgot blog candy! To be eligble for my giveaway you must be a follower, leave a comment and be sure to leave a way for me to get hold of you. The "candy" will be a bottle of green Stickles and some American Crafts rub-ons. I will pick the winner on March 22nd and will mail the prize April 1st, since I will be in Florida on vacation until then. Have a great day and thanks for hopping with me.

MAG challenge

Hello again,
I decided to make one more quick item for my hubby. The challenge was to use FMK pg 60. The image is a martini glass with an olive and I chose to only use the olive to make a bookmark for my husband to remind him how much I love him-he is a big readed of magazines. The paper is from my stash as is the ribbon. I tied my ribbon differently for me and I like the 2 colors together. Enjoy your day!

Double challenge post

Good afternoon,
I'm trying to get things done for my trips, but decided I needed to craft a little. The card I made is for Die Cuttin Diva's-use a cut not used on a cart not used much and Lisa Somerville birthday card challenge; I use FMK Cricut cart and cut the cute lobster and crab. The stamp is from SU Crab And Company set that is now retired. I inked the edges and stamped some shells in the sand and used my black pen for some stitching on the critters. Alos, how can I forget-googley eyes. Hope you like it. Have a great day.

Multi Challenge

Good evening,
Today was the day to finally try on clothes for my 2 trips and it didn't go well! I have been on high doses of steriods since January which has caused me to gain a bunch of weight, so nothing fits. I went to 6 stores to find clothes with little luck, off to try one more tomorrow and hope for the best. I don't want to spend much because I don't plan to stay at this weight for long. OK enough of my sob story.

On a happier note I made a cute card to enter in FIF #14,K. Andrews simple Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky and Baby Bud designs. The challenges were to use Twinkle Toes cart, sugar and spice and ribbons and bows. I made an awning for her to perform under and added some pearls for a necklace and some bling. I stamped her face with a Peachy Keen face. Hope you like her. Have a wonderful night.

Stamp Tv challenge-stvsksp16

Happy Saturday my friends,
Today I went to Chicago and watched the river being dyed green, very interesting! We then decided to go to watch the parade, but couldn't get very close because it was SO crowded. We had lunch with my daughter and came home to craft. The card challenge for today was a sketch. The imageis Mimi & Miles from Penny Black, which I stamped in Momento ink and colored with my Copics. I used paper from my stash and added Stickles for some sparkle to the hearts. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Lets all send some well wishes to the poor people in Japan. Take care.

Sketch TV-stvcsp14 challenge

Hello again,
I was getting ready to head up to relax when my son said "I want you to make a quick card for the challenge of red, black and yellow" before bed. I had planned to skip this challenge but he was insistant. The card was a very quick card made with a Mickey stamp I had won years ago and then colored it with watercolor pencils. The house in the backround is from Disney paper I had that I cut this image out. I added some faux stitching and glossy accents to Mickey's ears. I will stamp a sentiment on it, but wasn't sure which one yet. Off to relax, enjoy your evening.

Wee Memories-wmc46 challenge

Good evening,
The sun came out for about 30min today, it was so nice. I'm going to Texas next weeeknd and then Florida the following week, so I hope to soak up some major sun. Since I will be traveling the next few weeks I probably won't post as often, but will get back to my schedule April 1st. I will post when I can over the next few weeks.

The challenge for this card was Woodland Friends. I chose a stamp set by Stampendous called Birch Buddies and colored with my copic markers. I decided to leave the word block blank for now until I need this card for an ocassion then stamp it. I think I'm STARTING to get a hang of my copics, but need lots more practice. Have a wonderful evening and lets hope for sunny days. Take care,

MAG challenge #16

Hello again,
Well the last card missed the challenge deadline by a few hours, I hate when that happens. I decided to post this card now, so I don't miss another deadline. The challenge was to use Pooh and Friends cart pg 43. I chose the rabbit and made a spring card. The paper is from my supply and the sentiment is a dollar stamp from Michaels. My son decided the rabbit needed a bowtie, so he now sports one. Have a good evening.

Jitterbuggin challenge

Good afternoon,
I hope your day is going well. I was supposed to meet friends for crafting, lunch and shopping, but had to cancel since my son stayed home sick. The only good thing about not going was I was able to work on my calling cards for Texas, not done yet but close.

The challenge for todays card was to use a pig, button and 2 different pattern papers. It is hard to tell in the picture, but the yellow paper has dots on it. I think this card needs something else, but not sure what. If you have any ideas on how to make this look better please leave me a comment. I read and appreciate all your comments. Have a wonderful day.

Mojo Monday #180

Good evening,
I hope you have had a great Saturday. Today my husband and I had a "date" day, since my son had cheer 6 hours today. We went to see I'm Number Four(not into sci-fi, but it was pretty good), out to dinner and some shopping. I went to get some St. Patricks Day paper and could only find some in a big stack, so yep I bought the big stack. I DON'T need paper, but had to have shamrock paper for a project. I could use several pieces of paper a day and still have enough to last my lifetime.

Anyway, I made this card for a sketch challenge. The bee is from CAC cart and the sentiment is from MPS. I used stickles for some added sparkle. Hope you like it, I really like how this one turned out. Have a great weekend.

This card is for 2 challenges, the challenge was to make a St. Patricks Day card and the other to use green, white and I chose purple. It is always hard to make differnet boy cards for my son, so I use the dinosaur from CAC. The stamp is from the dollar spot at Michaels and says "everyone is Irish for a day".Have a good evening. Sorry for the poor picture quality.

Tacky Tuesday challenge

Greetings again,
For my final card, I saved the best for last, today I have an Easter card. The challenge was to use Simply Charmed cart pg 35 and a "chick" phrase. The jelly bean bag and peep on a stick are Jolee's that I have had for years. I have tons of Jolee's but never wanted to "waste" them, so now I plan to use them becaus eit is such a waste just to save them. I added a feather to the chicks head for some fun. The "sweet Chick" phrase is from MPS. Have a great day.
